Every Alex&er piece is designed and crafted by hand in our workshops.

As each item is individually made, most orders are dispatched within approximately 5 days of purchase. Once your jewellery has been completed and quality checked, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details.

Bespoke & Personalised Orders

Bespoke commissions, personalised pieces and custom-made orders require additional workshop time and may take up to three weeks to complete.

Should your order require a longer lead time, we will contact you directly.

If you believe your jewellery has developed a manufacturing fault, please contact us and our team will assess the piece for repair, replacement or alteration where appropriate.

Complimentary Services

We are always happy to provide guidance, advice and aftercare support for jewellery purchased from Alex&er.

Repairs & Alterations

As we design and manufacture our own jewellery, we are able to offer a range of repair and alteration services on many Alex&er pieces, including:

• Ring resizing
• Polishing and refinishing
• Chain and bracelet repairs
• Stone replacement where possible
• Bespoke alterations and remodelling

We generally only undertake repairs on jewellery originally purchased from Alex&er, as we are familiar with the materials, construction methods and manufacturing processes used.

However, exceptions may occasionally be made. If you have a piece from another jeweller that requires attention, we are happy to assess it in-store and advise whether the work is something we can undertake.

Charges may apply depending on the nature of the work required.

We want you to be delighted with your Alex&er jewellery.

If you wish to request a return or exchange, please contact us within 30 days of receiving your order.

Returned items must be:

• In their original condition
• Unworn and undamaged
• Accompanied by proof of purchase
• Returned in their original packaging where possible

As jewellery is a personal item, returns and exchanges will be assessed on an individual basis. We reserve the right to refuse a refund or exchange where an item shows signs of wear, damage, alteration or misuse.

Personalised & Bespoke Items

Due to the bespoke nature of personalised, engraved, stamped, textured, custom-sized and made-to-order pieces, these items are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

However, if you are unhappy with a personalised or bespoke item, we encourage you to contact us. In many cases we may be able to adapt, alter or refine the piece, depending on its design and construction.

Should there be a genuine fault or issue with workmanship, we will always investigate the matter and work with you to find a suitable resolution.

At Alex&er, almost every piece can be made personal.

We offer a bespoke design service where we can create a piece inspired by your ideas, sketches, memories or personal story.

You’ll work directly with our team throughout the design and making process, creating something that is entirely your own.

Handmade in Britain

Alex&er jewellery is designed and crafted in Britain.

The majority of our jewellery is handmade at the workbench in one of our workshops by our in-house team of jewellers and makers.

We also work alongside a small number of trusted local specialist ateliers, including traditional chain makers, who have been part of our extended making process for many years and share our commitment to quality craftsmanship.

This combination of traditional making techniques and specialist expertise allows us to create jewellery that is distinctive, personal and built to last.

As a result, slight variations may occur between pieces. These differences are not faults but are part of the character, individuality and authenticity of handcrafted jewellery.

The Alex&er team has developed a distinctive artistic and design style which forms part of the brand’s identity. Personalised, bespoke and customised items are created and interpreted in keeping with this aesthetic.

By placing an order for a personalised, bespoke or customised piece, customers acknowledge and accept the creative judgement of the Alex&er team in the execution of the design, finish and overall appearance of the final piece.
